Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely, about 15 minutes.Press remaining dough evenly into the bottom of the baking pan.Measure 1 cup cherry pie filling into a small bowl and reserve for the topping; cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator.Beat cream cheese, remaining cherry pie filling, and white sugar together in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until well-blended, about 2 minutes.
